Filing on praca.gov.pl

Since 1 June 2025 work permits and employer declarations are filed only on praca.gov.pl. On one power of attorney we file, sign and receive the decisions as your representative, answer the office's questions, and file the notifications that follow. Your employee's residence permit is a separate MOS application; we prepare that with them.

Questions from employers

No. With one power of attorney we file, sign and receive decisions as your representative. Everything goes through praca.gov.pl; an application filed any other way is left unexamined. You can also file yourself, and our employer guide is written so that you can.

It depends on the voivodeship and the route. A declaration is registered in seven working days when no enquiry is needed. A work permit has in many cases taken one to three months; some offices take longer. We give you the current figure for your office before you plan the start date.

Government fees since 1 December 2025: 200 PLN for a permit of up to three months, 400 PLN for a longer one, 800 PLN for posting, 100 PLN seasonal, 400 PLN per employer declaration. Paid by the employer, not the employee. Our own fee is quoted after the consultation.

Company registration, a statement that pay is not below comparable employees or the minimum wage, a no-conviction declaration, and the candidate's passport and qualifications. We send the exact checklist for your route after the consultation.

A copy of the permit to the employee, a written contract, with a translation into a language they understand before signing, ZUS within seven days of the contract start, and a notification on praca.gov.pl within seven days if work does not start, breaks for over two months or ends early. We file these for you.
