Almost certainly. You need a PESEL for employment contracts, tax returns, healthcare, opening a bank account, and many other things. If you’re staying in Poland longer than a few months, it’s one of the first things to get.
Foreigners can buy apartments and houses in Poland freely: no permit needed, regardless of nationality. Buying land (including a house with a large plot) is different: non-EEA citizens generally need a permit from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. There are exceptions, for example, if you’ve held a permanent residence permit for a certain period. We check your situation and handle the application if needed.
