The Voivode Offices inform that there is a suspension of time limits for handling cases by voivodes. What does it mean and what will change?
The law
Pursuant to Art. 100c of the amended law on assistance to Ukrainian citizens in connection with an armed conflict in the territory of this state, the administrative deadline for settling the matter regarding the granting of a residence permit (temporary, permanent, long-term resident of the European Union) is suspended until December 31, 2022.
The above mentioned rule means that if the deadline for considering the application for legalization of stay for third-country nationals is extended, the Voivode’s authority is not obliged to inform the party about the expected date of settling the case.
